The young 19-year -old fighter will make his 4-round Strawweight debut on March 5 at a Zanfer Promotions show.

 

Los Mochis, Sin. – The youthful native of Los Mochis , Sinaloa, Erik Soto Jr., attends an intense boxing camp in Tijuana , Baja California, under the tutelage of the legendary former world champion , Erik “Terrible” Morales, heading for his boxing debut paid, next March 5 at the border.

Soto Escobar traveled to Tijuana on February 7, 2023 to prepare with figures such as Jaime Munguía, José "Chon" Zepeda and the champion Yamileth Mercado.

Erik Francisco Soto Escobar , born November 13, 2003 , had a successful amateur career, including a silver medal at the Olympic Boxing Festival in Mexico City in 2022.

"I came to Tijuana, here with the champion, Érik the 'Terrible' Morales, I came to do my preparation here in Tijuana, because it will be my debut, in fact we have been talking for 2 years (Línea Directa), the Once I returned from Mexico (from the Olympic Boxing Festival), we talked and I said that I was going to come back stronger, and here we are, kicking it, fulfilling the dream.
